What if… you wake up in the morning and you have zero idea where you are… there are just two possibilities for people like you… You just woke up in the heaven for all the help you provided for people in need during your career as a volunteer… or the second option is you are discovering another piece of Universe Youth in Action and today is the first day of project. So, you jump out of the bed and practice in front of the mirror sentences like „my name is… Favorite color – yes blue as well“, deleting 3% of your memory to remember 18 new multi-culti names, bright smile on the face and you are pretty ready for the getting know each other session…  It wouldn’t be the training focused on fighting unemployment with volunteering when it would have usual structure – so don’t be surprised when you instead of typical activities find yourself sitting with another participants in the tram KISSing ( Keep It Short and Simple way ) each other just with basic information about yourself... Between 20-26 November 2013, SUPER TINERI is participating in the project "Volunteering work to combat unemployment", organized by Educator in Ostrava, Czech Republic.  The project is about exploring the possibilities of promoting and engaging the youth in voluntary work that would help young people to face the unemployment, poverty and lack of education and professional development. Simplifying the project is about the connection between volunteering and employability.  The Romanian participants are Mihaela Diana Podariu, Daniel Petruneac and Costin Chirica.  Today it was the first day and we entered directly in the world of local NGOs. At 8.50 we went to visit Charity Ostrava. We were amazed by their work and the great impact in different types of "clients" in need.  In the afternoon, after knowing each other, we participated in 2 nonformal activities, in order to work in teams and share our knowledge about volunteering.  Firstly we had the task to

The International Seminar “Volunteering work to combat unemployment” organized by  Educator will take place in Ostrava from 20th - 26th of November 2013. The aim : to explore the possibilities of promoting and engaging the youth in voluntary  work that would help young people to face the unemployment, poverty and lack of  education and professional development. The aim of the project will be fulfilled by providing the activities that are designed in  order to ensure the flow of the experience exchange, intercultural dialogue,  examination of the daily work of the participating organizations, sharing of the best  voluntary practices, finding new ways and creating new opportunities for volunteers  and for the future collaboration between the participating organizations. After the  seminar the street campaigns presenting the results of the seminar and the different  forms of volunteering will be carried out in the participants´ home countries. What for?
